How do I find a guest?
You can locate a guest within GuestView in several different ways:
-
If you remember any information about the guest (name, phone number, email address, a note that you left in the guest’s record), you can search for it by typing in the “Search guests” box at the top of every GuestView page. If you type in more than one word, GuestView will search only for guest records containing all of the words that you typed.
-
You can see the complete list of active, inactive and unassigned guests for your church by clicking on the “Guests” link on the left hand side of every page. See “Guest status” for more information.
-
If you are interested in all of the guests who have a certain tag (see “What are tags?“), you can click on the “Tags” link in the menu on the left hand side of the GuestView page to list your church’s tags, and then click on any tag to see the list of guests who are labeled with that tag. See “Viewing all guests labeled with a tag” for more information.
-
You can see the list of guests that are assigned to a particular caller on your follow-up team by first clicking the “Users” link on the menu on the left side of the GuestView page. This shows you the list of all of the active members of your follow-up team (you can click the “Inactive” link that appears in the menu to see all inactive or former members of your team; these people can no longer log in to GuestView, but GuestView keeps a record of the guests that they followed up with).
You can then click on any user in that list to see the guests assigned to them. At first you will see the list of active guests — guests that they have not yet finished working with. To see the list of guests they are finished working with, click the “Inactive guests” link at the top of the page.
