Assigning worship leaders

Overview

SongBook administrators can indicate which users are worship leaders for various locations. If a user is a worship leader for a particular location, they can:

  1. Create set lists for that location
  2. Edit any other set list for that location (even if it was created by someone else)
  3. Email set lists for that location

Worship leader privileges can be set either while editing a user, or while editing a location.

Editing a user

  1. Click on the Users link on the left-hand side of the SongBook page.

  2. Locate the user you want to edit, and click on their name.

  3. While editing the user, make sure the SongBook check box is checked. This enables the user to access the SongBook service.

  4. To indicate the user is a worship leader, select the Worship leader radio button within the SongBook section of the form. If the user is an editor or SongBook administrator, they will be able to do everything a worship leader could do within the SongBook.

  5. With Worship leader selected, indicate which locations the user is a worship leader for. You can also give the user the ability to create songs (or new arrangements of existing songs) by checking the Can add songs/arrangements, and edit their own check box.

  6. Click Save.

Editing a location

  1. Click on the Locations link on the left-hand side of the SongBook page.

  2. Locate the location you want to edit, and click on the location name.

  3. In the Worship leaders field, select all the users who are worship leaders for the location.

  4. Click Save.
